- Warranty Coverage:
- Duration: 2 years for parts and workmanship.
- Conditions: Maintain oil at the max level with SRD-approved oils and change every 3,000-5,000 miles or 10 track hours. Submit Used Oil Analysis (UOA) at each oil change.
- Engine Installation:
- Always use an AirEvac tool to pull 25 inHg of vacuum for refilling coolant system (contact us for instructions if needed)
- Break-In and Initial Oil Change:
- First Oil Change: After 500-1000 miles or approximately 5 track hours.
- Recommended Oils:
- For Street: Valvoline VR1 20W-50.
- For Street or Autocross: Driven DI50 or Motul 300V 5W-50.
- For DE/Race: Motul 300V 10W-60 or Amsoil Dominator SAE60
- Recommended Used Oil Analysis (UOA) Providers:
- Speediagnostix or Blackstone
- Oil Monitoring:
- If oil temps exceed 250°F, please contact us. If they exceed 255F, please discontinue use.
- Track Use Requirements:
- Cooling: Install a center radiator.
- Sump Options: FVD Sump for Autocross/DE, Hartech Racing Sump for Advanced DE/Race.
- Data Logging: Record rpm, water temp, oil temp, and oil pressure during track use.
- Additional Recommendations:
- Warm-Up Protocols: Allow engine water temp to reach 175°F before heavy driving. For track use, warm
- Fuel: Use the highest octane, non-ethanol, unleaded premium fuel available, ideally 93+.
