Who Are We?

Only a fraction of the cars stored in our 14,000 square feet facility

History

Brandon Clark, known as Slakker on Rennlist, retired from the tech industry in 2022 to found Slakker Racing Development. A longtime 996/986 enthusiast and racer, he sought to us his data-driven approach to build the engine that he thought his favorite cars deserved.

Brandon's desire to push the platform forward led to a partnership with Hartech, a UK-based shop with a reputation as the world's premier engine builder. Hartech's engineering was (and still is) unmatched in the Porsche engine rebuilding world, and this partnership allowed Slakker share this with the US market.

Brandon's "retirement project" grew much more quickly than he'd imagined. The news of "Hartech in the US" spread like wildfire, and the R&D matched its pace. Hartech's bulletproof engines provided a rock-solid foundation for testing new ideas for upgrades, and the dyno numbers began to climb. The data don't lie!

Mission

"Our mission is to build the best engines in the world."
- Brandon Clark

Through our partnership with top manufacturers like Hartech Automotive and Pauter Machine, it is our mission to build hardened water-cooled Porsche engines that perform reliably on the street and the track.

Vision

We strive for a world where every 1999-2008 911, Boxster, and Cayman has the engine that it deserves. We see ourselves as "preservationists," outfitting these cars with faster, more reliable engines that will preserve both their monetary and emotional value for years to come.

Business Philosophy

Our core values of integrity, excellence, and respect for our customers are at the heart of our business operations.  We fundamentally believe that we will succeed when we do what is right by our customers and strive to help them succeed.  When you win, we win.
